Presentation Proofing

Overview

Warnings View

Macabacus ensures the highest possible presentation quality and brand compliance by checking slides for errors and inconsistencies related to formatting, layout, content, and grammar/spelling. Performing over 100 different checks using dozens of customizable rules, Macabacus inspects slides for issues such as duplicated phrases, missing opening/closing parenthesis, orphaned footnotes, inconsistent bullet punctuation, image distortion, out-of-date legal notices, and missing chart legend entries. Macabacus even proposes fixes to expedite the correction of mistakes.

Customization

Unlike most Macabacus settings, which are customized in the Settings dialog, proofing settings are configured in the Proofing pane. These settings can be shared to hold all presentations produced by your team or organization to the same high standard.

Reformat View

Reformat view (pictured right) provides an at-a-glance inventory of key font, fill, border, paragraph, and other formatting used in your presentation, helping you identify inconsistencies and brand non-compliance quickly. Find and replace undesired formatting with  desired formatting throughout your presentation in just two clicks. Macabacus scans all presentation content to inventory formatting, including tables, chart elements, and Smart Art.

Colors

For font, fill, and border color items, white dots in the middle of color icons indicate that the color is not found in the active Macabacus color palette. In palette popups, checkmarks in color icons indicate that the color is used in the presentation.
