Version 2.4

2.4.7 (18 Jul 2010) NEW

  • Adds Quick Save tool/shortcut that lets you save files quickly without recalculating, regardless of calculation settings.
  • Adds Check For Dependents tool/shortcut to check if any cells in a selected range are used in the calculation of other cells. A useful tool to prevent inadvertent deletion of precedent cells.

2.4.6

  • Lets users specify a default error message/value when using Check for Errors on cell formulas, or be prompted for an error message/value.
  • Adds new tool and shortcut to reposition cell comments and adjust their sizes to fit comments.
  • Improves performance of the Paintbrush tool, which is now featured more prominently in Excel® 2007.
  • Improves speed when saving Macabacus settings in the Settings and Hotkey Manager dialogs.

  • Fixed bug in Footnote tool.

2.4.4

  • The Trace Precedents/Dependents dialog now remembers its previous location, giving you greater control over its positioning.
  • The Trace Precedents/Dependents dialog now automatically adjusts position to prevent overlapping highlighted cells (Excel® 2007 only).
  • The Hotkey Manager now includes a button that lets you conveniently give priority to Macabacus shortcuts when other conflicting shortcuts are indescriminately given priority over Macabacus shortcuts upon starting Excel®.

2.4.3

  • Big improvements to the reliability of Border Cycle that fix issues with the cycle halting unexpectedly in some cases.
  • When borders in a cycle are equal on all four sides, borders are now applied around the selected range rather than to individual cells within that range.

  • Now select any color as the Macabacus cell border color (as opposed to the 4 grayscale options available in previous versions).
  • Fixes a bug that prevented saving customized shortcut keystrokes using the Hotkey Manager in Excel® 2003.

2.4.2

  • Fixes bug that caused an error when adding a cell comment (Excel® 2007 only).
  • Fixes anchoring of checkbox on Smart Precedents/Dependents dialog.

2.4.1
