Version 2.4
2.4.7 (18 Jul 2010) NEW
- Adds Quick Save tool/shortcut that lets you save files quickly without recalculating, regardless of calculation settings.
- Adds Check For Dependents tool/shortcut to check if any cells in a selected range are used in the calculation of other cells. A useful tool to prevent inadvertent deletion of precedent cells.

- Lets users specify a default error message/value when using Check for Errors on cell formulas, or be prompted for an error message/value.
- Adds new tool and shortcut to reposition cell comments and adjust their sizes to fit comments.

- Improves speed when saving Macabacus settings in the Settings and Hotkey Manager dialogs.
- Fixed Smart Precedents/Dependents bug that displayed an error message when attempting to open other add-ins files on some computers.

- Improved behavior for applying individual cell borders when more than one cell is selected. Behavior now mimics native Excel® border behavior.
- Increase/Decrease Decimals no longer changes the number format of cells when more than one cell is selected and selected cells have different number formats.

- The Trace Precedents/Dependents dialog now remembers its previous location, giving you greater control over its positioning.
- The Trace Precedents/Dependents dialog now automatically adjusts position to prevent overlapping highlighted cells (Excel® 2007 only).
- The Hotkey Manager now includes a button that lets you conveniently give priority to Macabacus shortcuts when other conflicting shortcuts are indescriminately given priority over Macabacus shortcuts upon starting Excel®.

- Big improvements to the reliability of Border Cycle that fix issues with the cycle halting unexpectedly in some cases.
- When borders in a cycle are equal on all four sides, borders are now applied around the selected range rather than to individual cells within that range.
- Improves reliability of individual cell border shortcuts through better recognition/observation of adjacent cell borders.
- Now select any color as the Macabacus cell border color (as opposed to the 4 grayscale options available in previous versions).
- Fixes a bug that prevented saving customized shortcut keystrokes using the Hotkey Manager in Excel® 2003.

- Smart Dependents/Dependents now includes the ability to expand collapsed rows/columns to view hidden precedent/dependent cells.

- Back by popular demand, the ability to import previously exported settings is restored.
- Default number format cycles now include "@_)" in formats with parenthetical negatives to improve alignment.

- Macabacus Macros rebranded as Macabacus Lite in preparation for a full-featured version available soon. Several non-core, infrequently used features/tools have been removed.
- Fixes many Undo issues by cutting the AutoColor on Entry feature altogether. AutoColor on Entry will eventually become available in the full-featured version.
- Adds number alignment shortcut.
- Improves Trace Precedents algorithm to better handle defined names in formulas.
- Improves Blue-Black Toggle compatibility with a more diverse set of custom color palettes.
- Removes splash screen that interrupted startup of Excel for some users.

- Smart Precedents can now select entire rows/columns when audited formulas contain notation such as "=SUM($5:$6)" and "=SUM($B:B)", for example.
- Adds new tool to delete all constant inputs values from worksheets. Potentially useful when starting fresh from a pre-populated model template.

- Fixes Smart Precedents bug that prevented navigation to cell ranges when traversing the audited formula.
- Fixes bug related to customization of General Number and Currency Cycles that caused the number of decimal places to grow upon cycling.
