Now, let’s compute taxes on the income statement. We will first revisit the tax schedule we created earlier to link the income before tax we calculated in the previous step to the tax schedule. Note that we are not simply applying the corporate tax rate of 35% here, since there may be tax adjustments contemplated in the tax schedule that cause the effective tax rate to differ from the corporate tax rate.
